In songs like “Break it to Me” and “Blockades,” singer Matt Bellamy’s iconic mature tenor vocals match with synth and heavy bass lines. The band started recording the album in early 2017, and created songs in both London and Los Angeles with producers Rich Costey, Mike Elizondo, Shellback and Timbaland.ĭespite centering on different themes and experimenting with its sound, Muse still gives listeners a multitude of familiar-sounding tracks.
Muse wanted an era-traversing album that defied all expectations and standards of their previous music - from this, “Simulation Theory” was born. In contrast, “Simulation Theory” draws from science fiction and 1980s pop culture, focusing on the role of simulation and simulation hypothesis in society. Some of Muse’s previous albums, such as “Drones” and “The 2nd Law,” could be considered concept albums, often centering around darker themes such as warfare and government oppression. The eighth studio album from the band features 11 distinct tracks. “Simulation Theory,” a space rock album that is theatrical, bizarre and completely unforgiving, wipes Muse’s palette clean and opens up new musical landscapes for the band.

So if you are interested then please get in contact with Crazybobbles and if you wanna contact me, then please feel free to leave me a message on my talk page.On “Simulation Theory,” Muse takes a creative detour into dance and synth pop of a different era. And other things like updating certain song info, setlist details, gear info and the member pages (the member pages could use a serious cleanup and rewrite!) We have made fantastic progress since it's start in 2017 but there is still so much work to be done so we could use all the help we can get. There is lots of stuff that you could help us out with, particularity the most recent large project called the 'UNO LIVE DATABASE' which is a big project that aims to compile all the live performances of every single song by Muse. So if any of you would like to come and be a contributer that would be great. Now to create an account you have to contact Crazybobbles by email ([ where you can get in touch and he will set you up with an account and then you have become an official editor on the site! Now of course usual rules apply, no fake info, spamming and stuff that's the number one best way to piss me and others off and you'll get swiftly banned if that happens - but I'm sure the vast majority of you wouldn't even think about doing that. If you feel you could contribute to this wiki and would love to help out then we would love to have you on board. However, since it's original creator Crazybobbles has taken a back seat from the public eye there have only really been just a handful of editors (including me) that keep on contributing to the site and for me it would be amazing to have a few more people join and edit as well - so that's where YOU could come in. I've been following the wiki since 2012 and have been an editor since 2016, and it's truly an amazing website and the information, level of detail, effort and dedication that the wiki has received over the years has been truly remarkable. From setlists, band member profiles, song/video information and the vast amounts of gear the band has used over the years. In case you are unaware, it's an entirely fan made and run Wiki that has been running for over a decade and a half now that aims as a place to document information about all sorts of of stuff related to Muse. Hi, I'm Alfie (or Casin0R0yale7) and I'm a regular editor and contributor to the biggest Wiki centred around Muse called MuseWiki (LINK: ).
